Homeland: south of Eastern Siberia and the Far East, Northwest China, northeast Mongolia (slopes, dunes, grassy areas).
Upright herbaceous polycarp (perennial) 40-90 cm high with countless pure white flowers.
The leaves are compound, pinnate, of linear-lanceolate leaflets, leathery, dark green. The buds are erect and pubescent on the outside. The flowers are open, 3-4 cm in diameter, collected in inflorescences, with a slight or no odour.
It blooms in May-August on the shoots of the current year. On the shoot 30-70 flowers. Sets seeds and propagates by them. Medicinal, used in Chinese medicine.
